For as long as I could remember, there’s been an unsettling gap between how my life looked and how it actually felt.

I did all the things—read the books, went to workshops, tried new systems, strategies, planners, routines, hacks, habits, and therapy. But nothing shifted the feeling: Shouldn’t this feel better by now? Deep down I worried I’d spend my whole life living on the edge of who I was meant to be — but never fully becoming her.
